Positive things are happening! I'm truckin' forward in my Week 6, still hoping to finish on a high note.
1) Lose 10 pounds - Was down to 158.8 this morning! I'm flabbergasted by my weight fluctuations, but I'll take something in the 158 range :) I'll do my best to keep it going for tomorrow. It's crush time!
2) Diastasis Rehab - Did well on my tummy rehab yesterday too! 2 Double splints, 4 regular transverse contractions, and 5 head lifts.
3) Exercise - A family that runs together, stays together!! Went for a 2 mile run with the hubby and the kiddos yesterday. Even with Lawrence pushing the double stroller, he totally blasted me out of the water with his fitness level..... but he hasn't popped out two babies! I did pretty well keeping up for the first mile, but fizzled on the second mile. I have the Warrior Dash (http://warriordash.com/register2011_oregon.php) in just over a month, so I better get in shape FAST! Thankfully, my awesome neighbor just went back to work and has agreed to lend me her BOB single jogger so I can take Lilah out during the week :) THANK YOU KELLEY!
4) Ari's bedtime: Ari took an early bath with Lilah and once again I didn't get him upstairs into bed until nearly 9pm. We were able to read three books and have the lights off by 9:05, but I forgot to make Ari go potty before bed and he was in our room at 9:23 with a full bladder :( Once that was taken care of, he got in bed and fell asleep. Tonight is the Timbers game against LA Galaxy so it'll be another late night for him. Hopefully tomorrow night we'll get it right
5) Lilah sleep through the night: Oh Lilah... what am I going to do with this child? Lilah was up again at 2am and since she didn't eat much dinner or drink much milk before bed I decided to bring her some milk. She refused it and even wriggled off me onto the floor and ran into our bedroom as if she wanted to sleep with us. I was ok with this so I pulled her into bed, but she ended up jumping all over us, so at 2:30 I brought her back to her own bed. She didn't cry, but never went back to sleep. Around 3:15am she started getting upset again so I went into her room and it finally hit me.... she's teething :( I finally put some teething stuff on her gums and she fell asleep in about 2 minutes. DUH! Mostly I'm annoyed at myself for not realizing it was a teething issue. Maybe tonight I'll try some Tylenol before bed.
6) Wean Lilah: It's currently 11:11am, which means I have not nursed Lilah in nearly 53 hours! My nursing boob finally started feeling a little full last night, so I think I'll be expressing a bit in the shower today. On one hand, I feel like a giant weight has been lifted off my shoulders, but on the other hand I'm still really apprehensive that this is actually happening. We'll see in another few days if this is for real or not!
