Week 6, Day 4

Someone told me once that being a stay at home mom is 100x more exhausting with 1/4 of the stress - and it's so true.  Every day is a new barrage of insanity with only nap times and meals to keep any sort of measure to what time of day it is.  Since there are no weekends, sick or vacation days I often forget what day of the week it is.  But.... enough of my musings...

1) Lost 10 pounds - HAH!  I'm not doing very well at this challenge. I was up to 159.8 again this morning.  I think I'm supposed to get my period soon (TMI?), which may account for the WHOLE extra pound, but I know it's more likely because I was nibbling on Lilah's leftover waffle, Ari's leftover MacNCheese, and some beeny cheesy dish.  This whole process is going painfully slow...

2) Diastasis Rehab - I didn't even start my exercises until 8pm yesterday, but somehow I still got most of them done.  I did only 1 double splinted, but 3 regulars and 5 head lifts.  It's especially bad since I was totally talking about the program with another gal taking the class and was like, "yeah... I totally take the exercise regimen very seriously and do the full amount every day."  I'm shocked my nose didn't start growing right then and there.

3) Exercise - Not so much again :(  I had a 2 hour meeting in Vancouver yesterday and between the meeting and not having much sleep the night before, I didn't really have the umph to exercise.  I figured I'm already on the plus side since I worked out twice this week..... so there.

4) Ari Bedtime - Ari had a freak 40 stomach flu which extended his bedtime to 10pm. From 7:30 to 8:10 last night, Ari vomited 4 times.  He was doing fine and acting totally normal until, "Blaaaahhrgggg"  all over the floor.  When the next round came 10 minutes later, we thought it was a virus and braced ourselves for long night, but after another 2 rounds Ari looked up from his garbage can and said, "Apple Juice and [granola] bar, please."  We were a bit surprised, but that was the last of the vomiting at 8:10!  We kept him up until 10, just to make sure.

5) Lilah sleep through the night - Lilah slept until 4AM!  A whopping 8.5 hours for her and 6 hours of beautiful undisrupted sleep for me!  The not so great part is that it took me nearly an hour to get her BACK to sleep, but I looooooved me some 6 hours of sleepy time.  I'm pretty sure it's the longest stretch yet.  Now we'll see what tonight brings.

6) Lilah Weaned - Goal Accomplished.  4 days, 10 hours, 8 minutes and counting.   Now if that involution would start.... that would be awesome.  I've been nursing on only one side for so long, I have had a 'B' and a 'D' forever, but now with the engorgement, I'm pretty sure I have a 'B' and an 'F.'
