Week 6, Day 3

Cutting to the chase today:

1) Lose 10 pounds - Glad the Timbers beat LA Galaxy, but my celebratory Pizza and Beer didn't help my weight :(  I was at 169 this morning.  Gotta get back on the horse!

2) Diastasis Rehab: Not as well as I should have.  I did 2 Double splinted, 2 regular and 5 headlifts.  The headlifts that gave me such annoyance before and now the easiest part of my regimen!!!

3) Exercise - YES!  To Lilah out for a 3 mile run/walk.  I can honestly say I ran more than a mile without stopping (except to wait for the crosswalks) and ran more than walked.  Unfortunately, I decided to wait for Lilah to finish her nap and eat before we went out, so it was nearly noon when we left.  It was really tough to run in the hot, hot sun, but I'm proud of myself for making it.  Also a special shout out to my neighbor Kelley who lent me her single BOB.

4) Ari Bedtime - Last night was a Timbers game, so once again we weren't home until nearly 11, but he went RIGHT to bed as soon as we walked into the door :)

5) Lilah sleep through the night - Oy :/  Last night was a mixed bag.  We got home from the game at 11, but I didn't manage to crawl into bed until 11:40, then Miss Lilah woke up at Midnight!  Luckily, she just wanted a cuddle :)  I held her in my arms for a few minutes until she drifted back to sleep and I just looked at her sweet face in the moonlight.  At 2:30 she woke up again but she put herself back to sleep!  A success!!  But, unfortunately, I had already come downstairs to fetch a sippy of milk.  It was nice to get back in bed, but I kicked myself a bit because I should have stayed in bed to begin with.  She was up for the day at 5:45 which just about killed me, but she was technically only up once last night which was pretty good.

6) Lilah weaning - So it's been 3 days, 14 hours and 3 minutes since I weaned and I'm going to say it's official and LILAH IS WEANED!!!!!!!  Last night during her midnight waking, she didn't even TRY to nurse :) So in 4 days when my little experiment is over (for now!) at least I can feel as though I succeeded in 1 goal.  Wa-Hoo.
