Week 6, Day 5 - Part Deux & Backslide B-fest.

I'm not sure when it happened, but somewhere I lost count of my days.  I realized since today is Sunday, I'm writing about yesterday which is Saturday, which should be Day 5 because my Day 1 is always on Tuesdays.  So.....today is Day 5 Part Deux - make sense?

It's nearly 9:30 and as I'm writing this, Ari just appeared in my doorway saying he's hungry, so I'm going to stick him back in bed.

Ok, gave him a granola bar and stuck him back in bed..... Yes, I already brushed his teeth, had him go potty, read him books and said goodnight, and he's waiting until this moment to announce his hunger.

So here I am writing about Week 6, Day 5 with a short two days left to my challenge and I'm falling apart. I'm supposed to be covering Saturday (yesterday), but I'm going to complain a bit about Sunday (today - Week 6, Day 6).  For starters, instead of exercising I went to the Oregon Steam up today and whatever calories I might have possibly burned off frantically chasing after Lilah for 3 1/2 hours, I probably killed with a McChicken Sandwich (no mayo), an handful of fries (Ari, Lawrence and I shared a kid sized), and a corn dog (I had never had one and Lawrence said I should!).   Also, I should add I didn't do ANY of my diastasis exercises, NOR did I even wear the F-ing splint today... I'm so sick of the damned splint!! It's all stretched out and it rides up and rolls over and I'm totally sick of it :(  I know I have two days left, but I'm tiiiiiiired of wearing the friggin thing.  And for the piece de resistance..... As I previously mentioned..... it's now 9:37 and Ari is STILL up :(  Uggg......  And I guess I should mention what most of you have probably already guessed, I'm probably pmsing.  Rather than cramps and backaches, I become annoyed, lazy and despondent.  blech....

Well.... here's to accountability:
1) Lose 10 pounds - 159.6 this morning probably having to do with my 1.5 slices of pizza last night.  Soooo... tired of dieting :(

2) Diastasis - I did 2 regular transverse contractions and that's it.

3) Exercise - I did a 2 mile run/walk, but it was terrible.  As I was walking out the door Ari said he wanted to come with me, so I threw the kids in the jogger.  Within 3/4 of a mile, Lilah threw her sippy out of the stroller, Ari got his foot caught in the gate crossing the MAX, the kids got into a fight because Lilah wanted Ari's bagel (she had her own, but wanted his), Ari had to pee, then they both needed more puffs in their snack tray.  I had a good 1/4 mile of running and then Lilah screamed nearly the whole mile home. start STOP start STOP start STOP start STOP, my heart rate was getting whiplash.

4) Ari Bed - Ari had another late night with a 10pm bed time.  We spent the afternoon at a really cool charity event for kids, so he didn't nap.  Since there was so many fun things to do (and he did them all) he fell asleep 30 seconds AFTER we walked in the house. Since we couldn't wake him before 6:30pm (believe me we tried), he didn't go back to bed until 10.

5) Lilah sleep through the night - In possibly the only positive challenge-related events of the the day, Lilah woke once at 2:30 with a big poop and went right back to sleep after I changed her diaper.  I can't remember the last time she had a nighttime poop, but she didn't need milk or anything other than a diaper change.  Then she slept till 7 which was nice.

6) Wean Lilah - Still weaned.... Thank the Lord above.
