Week 1, Day 7 and 7 1/2

I'm having a hard time and I hope I can get it together.

1) Lose 10 pounds - I know I had over 30 points both on Sunday and Monday July 4th.  Both days, I seemed nearly overwhelmed by food with seemingly no control over myself.  I keep saying that I need to get back on the ball, but still have yet to do it.  I think tomorrow I will do some real soul searching to figure out why I'm getting in the way of my own dreams and desires.

2) Diastasis - at least there's one thing I'm doing right.  I fulfilled my 5 reps through the day and continued to do a good job at being aware of my movements.  However, the splint is starting to feel binding and it's starting to annoy me at times.  It seemed like the first few days I had no problem whatsoever at keeping it on 24 hours a day, but now I need some breaks.

3) Exercise - Still no exercise both Sunday and Monday July 4th - See above.

4) Ari Bedtime - Ari ended up taking a VERY late nap.  It was one of those days we thought he was going to skip his nap when at 5pm we suddenly looked over and realized he was unconsious on the couch.  We let him sleep for an hour, but he woke up grouchy and then refused to go to sleep.  He was bathed and in bed by 9, but then started crying, crying, crying that he was hungry.  I finally gave in to giving him some cheese. Even then, he didn't fall asleep until about 10:40.

5) Lilah Sleeping though the night - Lilah actually did pretty well!  She woke up at 9pm when I originally tried putting Ari to bed, so I nursed her and she slept until 2:45!  Then went back to sleep until 6am - definitely a step in the right direction. Now I just need to practice going to sleep at a reasonable hour instead of midnight....argh.

6) Lilah Nursing - Once again, I ended up nursing the child 6 times.  But again, I'm considering it a victory because only ONE of the nursings was in the middle of the night :)  My times were 6:30am, 9am, 5pm, 7:30pm, 9pm and 2:45am.

I'll reiterate last nights blog that I really need to get back on the ball and I WILL!!!!
