Week 3, Day 7 - Are we 1/2 way already?!?!?!

1) Lose 10 pounds - Starting to get a little frustrated with the food thing because I was back up to 160.8 again this morning.  I know I'm still technically 2.2 pounds down, but I thought I would be doing better by now.  Maybe I just have to wait until I'm done weaning Lilah, track my food, or exercise more, but right now I just feel fat :(

2) Diastasis class - Did all my exercises, which I'm glad about.  I feel myself getting lazier and lazier and wanting to wear the splint less and less too.  Tomorrow is my next meeting with Kelly Dean at the Tummy Team.  Hopefully after tomorrow's meeting I'll feel more energized and be back on the horse.

3) Exercise - Again no :(  I need to get on the ball about this...

4) Get Ari in bed and asleep by 9pm - Last night, I went upstairs to put Lilah to bed and when I came down, Ari was sitting on the table drinking caffeinated Diet Coke.....grrrrr.  Despite his obvious caffeination, I still brought Ari upstairs for bedtime a few minutes before 9 (he was playing in the sprinkler which served as his bath).  He was very unwilling to go to bed and didn't even want to read a book.  Around 9:15 Lawrence went up and laid in bed with him again..... which again didn't help put him to sleep.  Finally at 9:30, I pulled Lawrence out of Ari's bed at which time Lawrence and I went to sleep.  Although Ari protested for a few minutes after Lawrence left, in the end he did go to sleep.  I guess technically it was a successful bedtime because he was in bed at the appropriate time even if he didn't actually fall asleep until much later.

5) Get Lilah to FINALLY sleep through the night - Lilah was up at 1:30 and 5:30 last night.  At 1:30, I let her cry for a few minutes, but she sounded like she was in pain... from teething or ear infection, I don't know.  I gave her some Ibuprofen and nursed her for a little while.  However, I think my milk supply is also dwindling because I ended up getting a sippy of milk which she drained and then fell asleep.  I thought her belly was full, but when she woke again at 5:30, I couldn't believe she was up again.  I tried ignoring her, but Lawrence eventually brought her to bed for a few minutes to nurse, then downstairs to start the day while I slept.  Again, I know we're in a better position than a few weeks ago, but I'm reminded of how far we have to go.  I'm going to bring her to the Pediatrician tomorrow to make sure she doesn't have an ear infection.

6) Wean Lilah - Yesterday I nursed her 4 times, which is ok with me. I think we're on the right track and with just over 3 more weeks to go, if she's not completely weaned by the end of this challenge, then we're well on our way and certainly on a more reasonable nursing schedule than when we started :)  As I stated above, I'm pretty sure my milk supply is dropping even more.  Maybe for my night time feeds I'll start bringing a sippy with me.
